“The setting here is truly wonderful, right by the village green, and it's quite clear why it's a local favourite for an evening meal. My room, a quiet space in the back, was comfortable and clean, with a bed that invited a good night's sleep and a particularly effective shower. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff consistently struck a fine balance between being welcoming and efficient.”
